The world of Euu - Yne

Ynes inhabit caves and live in large colonies. They have evolved to rely more on touch than eyesight, hence their long whiskers and their small eyes almost entirely covered by fur. They are omnivores and eat mostly mushrooms that grow in the rocky soil of caves. Ynes have a very good auditory system, being able to aid the group when there's a predator nearby. The big ears twist in all angles thanks to the elastic membrane that connects them to the sides of the head. Their social hierarchies are dictated by the strongest male, crowned after successive fights. Once the leader of the group, the Yne who won will be in charge until he is too old to do so.
