The world of Euu - Mudlin

Mudlins are often found in mud ponds near lakes. They thrive best in rainy seasons when the earth is wet and they can move around more easily. They are ambush predators, hiding in the mud and using the wet earth to their advantage to sense any thirsty living thing trying to access the water. Their diet consists of preying on fireflies and other flying insects that come near the water during mating seasons. Additionally, they eat the offspring of the ferocious bird Oka when they try to learn how to fly and end up stranded near the mudpond.
Mudlins are a combination of the elements water and earth, and have strong connections with each essence in the Euu energy flux. Their bodies can dissolve and expand at will within the marsh. They have a wide range of movement and can dive and hold their breath for long periods to stay hidden in their natural state of being.
